A Different Kind of Mother's Day

Mother's Day

In honor Mother's Day and all of us "Pet Parents", I was inspired to make a list of the differences between having human children and Furry ones. My babies are all cats, but I would assume most of this holds true for the dog lovers as well.

What's Different When You Have Furries.

They do not wake you up at 5 am.
They do not bother your stuff.
They do not make messes.
They do not scream at you.
They do not suddenly need attention when you are busy.
You can go to the bathroom alone.
They do not talk back.
They do not drive you crazy.
You get to skip the Terrible Twos.
No one gives you attitude.
They do not cling to your body when you are trying to leave.
They listen.
You do not have to tell them the same thing 50 times.
They do not eat your food.
They can't manipulate you.
They leave you alone when you are watching TV.

When I sat down to write this blog, I was completely alone as everyone was outside playing. I have managed to write most of it one handed as I am holding one baby, and another is wrapped (literally) around my foot. I can hear the other two little ones pilfering through my craft stash across the room.

I sincerely wish Mother's, of every kind, have a wonderful Mother's Day!
